A severe thunderstorm wreaked havoc on a revival tent located on County Farm Road, just south of Ethridge, resulting in injuries to two individuals, one of whom required transportation to a medical facility. The storm hit unexpectedly around 4:30 PM on Tuesday, just before the revival activities were set to commence. Fortunately, the injuries sustained were believed to be minor in nature.
In addition to the injuries, the storm caused significant damage in the surrounding area. Reports indicated that several trees were uprooted near Hickory Street off Fall River, leading to damaged power lines. Furthermore, a tree fell and obstructed traffic near the Crossroads Market, also situated on Fall River Road. The community is now assessing the aftermath of the storm and working to restore normalcy in the affected areas.
