UNA to Host Spring Commencement Ceremonies for 2025

The University of North Alabama is set to celebrate its spring commencement ceremonies on the 9th and 10th of May. Over the course of these two days, more than 1,000 students will be honored for their academic achievements during six separate ceremonies. On Friday, the ceremonies will feature Madison City Schools Superintendent Dr. Ed Nichols, who will deliver an inspiring address at both the 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM events.

The following day, four additional ceremonies will take place, starting at 9:00 AM and continuing through 4:30 PM, with the Honorable Sybil Cleveland-Pennywell, Municipal Court Judge for the City of Huntsville, serving as the keynote speaker. Dr. Ken Kitts, President of UNA, emphasized the significance of commencement, stating, “This occasion is not only a celebration for our students and their families but also a moment for reflection on their academic journey and the dedication required to complete their degree programs.” He further noted the careful selection of speakers, as their messages are intended to inspire graduates and instill a sense of pride in their accomplishments.

From all of us at Radio7 Media, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the graduates and wish them continued success in their future endeavors.
