The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development has released data indicating a positive trend in the state’s employment landscape. According to the report, almost all of Tennessee’s 95 counties experienced a decrease in their unemployment rates as 2023 came to a close. Specifically, 92 counties saw a decline in their unemployment rates in December compared to November. Notably, every county in the state reported a rate of less than 5%, reflecting a widespread improvement in employment conditions across Tennessee.
