Unofficial Primary Election Results for Lawrence County

In Lawrence County, Tennessee, residents exercised their right to vote in the Presidential Preference and County Primary elections on Tuesday. Former President Donald Trump secured victory in the Republican primary with 3548 votes, while President Joe Biden emerged as the winner in the Lawrence County Democrat primary with 215 votes.

Notably, Brady Hutton ran unopposed for the Republican nomination for Lawrence County Assessor of Property and garnered 3,140 votes. Meanwhile, Julie Carrell Heffington received 2824 votes for Circuit Court Judge Part V District 22.

In the school board races, the results were as follows: in District 1, Bill Adams received 277 votes, defeating Rebecca Taylor who received 165 votes. In District 4, Jerry Dryden secured 333 votes. District 7 saw Janet Alexander with 332 votes, surpassing Keith James who received 165 votes. In District 8, Chad Shannon narrowly defeated incumbent Kevin Caruso by three points, with a vote tally of 121 to 118.
