The Lawrenceburg City Council is scheduled to convene on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 9:00 AM in the Council Meeting Room at the Municipal Complex situated at 25 Public Square. Individuals interested in addressing the agenda items are required to sign in before the meeting commences.
The meeting will include a public hearing on Ordinance 1401 and the following ordinances:
– Ordinance No. 1401: An ordinance to amend Ordinance Number 789, known as the “Zoning Ordinance of the City of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee,” concerning property owned by Gaylon G. Faulkner. This will be the second reading.
– Ordinance No. 1402: An ordinance to amend Ordinance Number 789, regarding property owned by Superior Restoration Plus on the south side of Oakwood Drive, changing the zoning from R-2 (Low-Density Residential District) to R-4 (High-Density Residential District). This will be the first reading.

– A resolution approving the lease agreement between Lawrence County and the Tennessee Board of Regents on behalf of Columbia State Community College.
– A resolution for the Board of Mayor and Council of the City of Lawrenceburg to approve Purchase Order #1 for Brad Slater Construction’s proposal for the Farmers Market Pavilion.
– A resolution for the City of Lawrenceburg to enter into an amended lease agreement with the Lawrence County Board of Education to add extra space to Bobby Brewer Park.
