The community is gearing up for the annual 5K run/walk organized by The Butterfly Foundation, set to take place on Saturday, June 1st at Waynesboro City Park. This event, now in its 15th year, was established following the passing of Ryleigh Stegall in 2007. The fundraiser aims to support families with children facing life-threatening or life-altering conditions in Wayne and neighboring counties. Participants can expect the race to kick off promptly at 8 a.m., with all proceeds going towards this noble cause.
