The upcoming meeting of the Lawrence County Board of Education is scheduled for Thursday, March 21. Among the agenda items up for discussion are the approval of several field trips, the consideration of school bus bids, and the presentation of school reports from Leoma and David Crockett Elementary Schools. Additionally, there will be a segment dedicated to recognizing outstanding students from each school and honoring retired educator Cherie Plant. The meeting is set to commence at 5:30 PM at the Board of Education building located on Springer Road.
