The Lawrence County Historical Society is set to convene on Thursday, April 24th, at 6:30 PM, with the venue being the Southern Tennessee Higher Education Center. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from Nancy Brewer, who will present a program dedicated to the extensive collection of photographs taken by Howard Johnston over the years. Known affectionately as “HoJo,” Johnston gained recognition for his keen eye in capturing various aspects of life in Lawrence County, with a particular focus on youth sports programs. His photographic work also documents significant historical events within the county. The society encourages its members to participate in this engaging event, and warmly invites guests to join as well.
