The Lawrence County Commission has a busy schedule lined up for next week with several important meetings on the agenda.
On Monday, April 22, the Budget Committee will convene at 4:30 pm to discuss various topics including communications savings discovered during the SpyGlass audit and the Budget Committee schedule for the FY 24-25 budget review. Following that, the Animal Welfare meeting will take place at 5:30 pm with discussions centered around the spay/neuter program, Shelter update, and an interlocal agreement for Shelter operation.
Moving on to Tuesday, April 23, the Committee as a Whole will meet at 6:00 pm to hear a report from the Barrett Group on potential savings identified during its review.
Thursday, April 25 will see the Regional Solid Waste Planning Board meeting at 5:00 pm to review and approve the annual report from the Solid Waste Department.
Wrapping up the week on Friday, April 26, the Beer Board will convene at Noon to address any pertinent matters.
All meetings will be held in the second-floor conference room of the Administrative Center, and the public is encouraged to attend and participate in these important discussions.
