Over the weekend, a stolen vehicle in Lawrence County was swiftly located in Alabama. Reports indicate that a deputy from the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office was sent to a property in South Loretto to speak with a complainant regarding their missing 2006 Toyota Forerunner. After contacting the car dealership from which the vehicle was purchased, authorities were able to trace the stolen car to an address on County Road 48 in Lauderdale County. With the collaborative efforts of the Lexington Alabama Police Department, the stolen vehicle was successfully recovered.
