Violet Marie Clemmons, 91, of Pulaski, TN, passed away on Tuesday, January 21st, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Pulaski, TN on October 3, 1933. Marie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She retired from the Growing Tree and loved children. Marie loved to travel with her husband Clyde and seeing new places. She was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed sewing. She enjoyed bird watching and sitting on her screened-in porch visiting with family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd, 2025 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory. The funeral service will take place on Friday, January 24th, 2025 at 11:00am in the chapel of Bennett-May & Piece Funeral Home. The burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Garden in Murfreesboro.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Wheeler Clemmons, parents, Lewis Mahlon and Mary Florence Glover Garner, brother, J.C. Garner, sister, Jewel Dean Chapman, Son, Ricky Clemmons, grandson, Michael Jones, and son-in-law, Ken Felker.
She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Felker of Pulaski, TN, Mary Ann (Bob) Decker of Murfreesboro, TN, Brenda (Roger) Short of Pulaski, TN, daughter-in-law, Debbie Clemmons of Murfreesboro, TN, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
