Due to adverse weather conditions, numerous businesses and services in the Lawrenceburg area will be closed today. Among those shutting their doors are the Lawrenceburg Municipal Building and Brink Building Materials. Additionally, there will be no residential garbage collection today; however, pickups are scheduled to resume tomorrow, Thursday, February 20th. Other closures include Loretto City Hall, Loretto Auto Parts, Marks Small Engine, and the Lawrenceburg Senior Center.
Several local churches have also canceled their services in light of the weather. This includes Highland Park Baptist Church, Salem Church of Christ, Ethridge Church of Christ, Flatwood Freewill Baptist Church, and Solid Rock Baptist Church, all of which will not hold services today.
In terms of early closures, First Horizon Bank will close at 4:00 PM, while Employee Resources Credit Union and Heritage Bank will close earlier at 3:00 PM. It is important to note that all Public Works, Police, and Fire departments will remain staffed and operational during this time.
