William C. “Billy” Miller, 77, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at his residence. He was a dedicated member of Local Union 455 Boiler Makers. William was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Janie Hendon Miller, his parents, Clyde and Audrey Miller, and his brothers, Mark Miller and Craig Miller.
He is survived by his loving sons, Brian Miller (Amanda) and Shawn Miller (Stephanie), as well as his cherished grandchildren, Justin Miller (Brittney), Caitlin Cash (Michael), and Peyton Miller. He also leaves behind his adored great-grandchildren, Madison Miller, Emmy Kate Miller, Jackson Cash, and Gracie Cash, and his siblings, Wayne Miller (Lori), Marty Miller (Melinda), Michelle Lawson (Rance), and Janie Miller.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, from 10-11 AM at Elkins East Chapel, followed by funeral services at 11 AM in the chapel with Jerry Balentine officiating. Burial will take place at Bluewater Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Adam Miller, Tommy Miller, Chip Miller, Wes Stutts, Tony Hanback, and Tristan Lawson.
William will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
