William Edward Clifton, age 83, of Pulaski, TN, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. William was a native of Lawrence County, TN, and found joy in working on his farm where he raised cattle. He was also a dedicated member of Greenwood Church of Christ.
William was preceded in death by his parents, William Allen and Martha Alice Reed Clifton. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Edith Clifton of Pulaski, TN; his daughter, Sharon Kudron (David) of NC; and his cherished granddaughter, Kyra Kudron of NC.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, and a graveside service and interment will be conducted at Greenwood Cemetery in Giles County, TN at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 21, 2025, with David Hall officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Greenwood Cemetery or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
William will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched. He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and devotion to his family and community. He will be remembered for his kind spirit and his passion for farming. May he rest in peace.
