William Kenneth Adomyetz, age 66, of Killen, passed away on May 13, 2025, at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Kenny, a devoted Christian, found solace in his faith during his illness and has now found eternal peace in the arms of his Heavenly Father. He was a cherished member of Killen Methodist Church and leaves behind a legacy of faith and love.
Kenny is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Wanda Adomyetz, his daughter Michelle Hannah (Chris), his son Ben Adomyetz (Kaiti), his sister Gail Adomyetz, and numerous grandchildren and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, John (Bill) and Nell Adomyetz, and one grandson, Landon Hannah.
Kenny dedicated 38 years of service as the North Alabama Construction Manager at Rogers Group before retiring in 2023. His impact was felt not only in his professional life but also in the deep and lasting friendships he formed along the way.
A devoted patriarch, Kenny leaves behind a legacy of high morality, honesty, and respectability that will continue to inspire his family and friends. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at Killen Methodist Church on Monday, May 19, 2025, from 1:00-3:00, with the funeral immediately following at 3:00. The burial will take place at Killen Cemetery, with Ben Adomyetz and Bro. Bryan McIntyre officiating. Pallbearers will be friends and family, with the Open Door Sunday School Class serving as honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Killen Methodist Church Food Pantry or the charity of your choice. Elkins Funeral Home is directing the arrangements.
