Wilmadean Richardson Bomar

Wilmadean Richardson Bomar, 88, of Lynnville, TN, passed away on January 1, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 14, 1937, in the Old 23rd District of Henry County to Lemuel and Jennie Mae Medlock Richardson, Wilma was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She dedicated many years of her life to working at Hillside Hospital as a ward secretary and later pursued her passion for interior decorating, opening and operating the Tea Room in Lynnville, TN.

Wilma was known for her love of flowers and yard work, taking great pride in her beautiful gardens. Her family always came first, and she was cherished for her sense of humor, infectious smile, and laughter. A faithful Christian, Wilma was a member of Lynnville Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, James C. Bomar, and her daughter Melanie Bomar, as well as her parents, three sisters, and four brothers. Wilma is survived by her daughters Donna Malugin (Billy) of Lynnville, Jamie Valentine (Jim) of Pulaski, and son Craig Bomar of Pulaski, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her brother Warren Richardson (Kay) of Paris, TN.

Visitation will be held at Carr and Erwin Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, from 5-8pm, with the Funeral Service following on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 1pm. The service will be officiated by Danny Jones and Arthur Payne, and burial will take place at Giles Memory Gardens in Pulaski, TN.

Wilma will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
