On Saturday, July 5, 2025, a woman was taken into custody for public intoxication after a series of erratic emergency calls were made from a residence located on New Powerhouse Road. The Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department reported that multiple 911 calls originated from the address of 806 New Powerhouse Road, prompting a response from deputies Hudson and Roush.
Upon their arrival, the deputies encountered three individuals, one of whom was later identified as Tiffany. The deputies observed that Tiffany was on the phone, displaying signs of extreme agitation and paranoia. During her conversation with someone confirmed to be her father, she repeatedly exclaimed phrases such as “They’re going to kill me” and “Are you here to kill me?” This alarming behavior raised immediate concerns for her well-being.
Despite the deputies’ attempts to calm her down and ascertain her exact location, Tiffany continued to act erratically. The incident report indicated that her behavior included nonsensical speech, sudden outbursts, rapid eye movements, and restlessness, all of which suggested possible narcotics use. Given her apparent intoxication and disorientation, the decision was made to arrest Tiffany for public intoxication, and she was subsequently transported to the Lawrence County Jail. A warrant was issued in relation to her arrest.
It is worth noting that there was no body camera footage available from this incident, as both deputies’ cameras were in the docking station, downloading footage from previous calls at the time they responded to the scene.
