To ensure the safety of all residents within the city, the Florence Police Department has issued a reminder regarding the designated hours for fireworks usage during the holiday season. Fireworks are allowed from now until December 30th, with permissible hours set from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. On New Year’s Eve, the timeframe extends slightly, allowing fireworks from 10 a.m. until 12:30 a.m. Following the New Year celebrations, residents can again use fireworks on January 1 and 2, adhering to the same hours of 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The department emphasizes the importance of celebrating responsibly and being considerate of neighbors during this festive time.
