Jo Ann Fisher Pollock, a beloved beacon of love and kindness, passed away peacefully on October 14, 2025, in Columbia, Tennessee, at the age of 79. Born on March 11, 1946, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Jo Ann’s life was a testament to the enduring power of love and family.
Jo Ann’s nurturing spirit and dedication to her family and friends will be dearly missed. She is survived by her son, Greg Pollock of Florence, Alabama, and her siblings, Betty Luker, Christy Fisher Ballard, and Tim Fisher (Malinda), all of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Her several nieces and nephews, whom she cherished, will fondly remember her thoughtful presence and the way she made them feel special.
In her professional life, Jo Ann was known for her friendly demeanor and dedication, making her a beloved figure at Jones Apparel and Walmart. Her colleagues will remember her not just for her work ethic, but for her ability to brighten the day of anyone who crossed her path.
Jo Ann’s interests were varied and filled with passion. She had a keen eye for shopping, a talent for baking, and found peace and joy in gardening. Those who knew her would unhesitatingly describe her as loving, kind, and thoughtful, with an innate ability to make others feel cared for and valued.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, October 16, 2025, and 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM Friday, October 17, 2025, at Neal Funeral Home. Graveside service and interment will be conducted at Pleasant Grove Cemetery at 1:00 PM Friday, October 17, 2025, with Jerry McLain officiating.
