Additionally, the team was tasked with establishing a helicopter landing zone in the Leoma District, which is crucial for emergency medical situations.
The firefighters also faced multiple brush fires that were reported in both the Gandy and Center Point districts, showcasing the challenges posed by dry conditions. In addition to these incidents, they provided assistance during three high-priority medical emergencies located in the Crossroads, New Prospect, and Ethridge districts. The day’s activities were rounded out by responding to a fire alarm activation in Leoma.
