On Tuesday, April 29th, the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department received a report concerning the theft of cable. A representative from AT&T informed authorities that an unidentified individual or individuals had made off with around 1,500 feet of cable, resulting in a financial loss estimated at $10,000 for the company. This incident reportedly took place during the week of April 20th, specifically in the area between Stingy Ridge and Hughes Hollow Road. Authorities are urging anyone with information related to this theft to reach out to the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office at (931) 762-3626.
