Snow Set to Arrive in Middle Tennessee and Nearby Counties This Friday

A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for Middle Tennessee and much of the neighboring regions, signaling the potential for significant snowfall beginning Friday morning and continuing into the night. Meteorologists are forecasting an accumulation of four to seven inches of snow throughout the day. While adjustments to this forecast may occur, experts are confident that the snow will blanket the area, creating hazardous travel conditions.

The snow is expected to advance across the region from west to east, with areas southwest of Nashville experiencing slick and treacherous roadways as early as dawn. By late morning, these challenging travel conditions will extend to the Cumberland Plateau. Residents are urged to take necessary precautions and remain vigilant regarding the evolving weather situation as the weekend approaches.
