Edward Perry Henson, age 90, of Ethridge, TN passed away Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was a native of Giles County, retired from Redstone Arsenal, a member of Marcella Falls Church of Christ, and International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, local 1293.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan Perry and Cora Lee Watson Henson; his wife, Betty Carlene Woodard Henson; and his brother, Nathan Henson, Jr.
He is survived by three sons, Keith Henson (Martha), Nathan Carl Henson, and Steve Henson, all of Ethridge, TN; one daughter, LeAnn Tate (Larry Terrell) of Lawrenceburg, TN; seven grandchildren, Melissa Stephens (Thomas), Brian Henson, Cora Calahan (Blake), Eli Henson (Taylor), Laura Morrow (Tucker), Lindsay Henson (Joe McCoy), and Adeline Terrell; and four great–grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, February 27, 2026, and from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 28, 2026, with Dan Edwards officiating. Interment will follow at John Lay Cemetery in Ethridge, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation. Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
