Pate Alley, age 94, of Lebanon, TN, passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at The Pavilion Senior Living in Lebanon, TN. He was a retired supervisor at TDOT and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Pate was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enjoyed watching sports, hunting, and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, W. W. and Annie Lizzie Green Alley, his wife, Virginia Maxine Alley, and his sister, Cleo White. Pate is survived by his three daughters, Frances Alley Porch, Faye Alley Lanning (Chuck), and Renee Alley Carter, as well as his sister, Dean Marlor, his brother, Delton Alley (Mary), seven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, and graveside services and interment will be conducted at Deerfield Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 02, 2025, with Reggie Coleman officiating. The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Condolences may be sent via the website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
