Melanie Dawn Poag, age 52, a resident of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
Born on May 17, 1971, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Melanie was the daughter of Karen Poag Chandler and Richard (Michelle) Perry. Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her children, Jessica Poag, Reannon Poag, Christopher Mize, and grandchildren, Pixie Isabella Poag, Ja’Von James Levier, and Ja’Lyn Page Levier.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Tom Paul Chandler, II, sister, Terri Cupp, and grandparents, Frances Letke Poag and Ernest May Poag.
A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
