Flossie Mae Shelton, age 82, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, February 24th, 2026 at her residence in Lawrenceburg. Flossie was born on December 8th, 1943 to the late Lucian Renfro and Lizzie Mae Pettus Renfro in Lawrenceburg. Flossie worked for many years at Genesco before retiring in the early 1990’s. In her later years, Flossie enjoyed coloring, reading, doing crossword puzzles, playing bingo, and spending time with her loving family and friends. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Leoma.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Buddy Shelton; daughter, Lisa Annette Tease, and her brother, Ronnie Renfro.
She is survived by her son, James Graves (Neva); grandchildren, Thomas McKee, Jennifer Tease, Rocky Tease, Brayden Pigg, and Jace Pigg; brother, Bobby Ray Renfro, and her sister, Shirley Green, and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Pettus-Turnbo Funeral Home on Friday, March 6th, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m.
Interment will be held at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.
