Lawrence County Celebrates EMS Week 2026

Lawrence County is celebrating Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week from May 17 through May 23, 2026. County Executive David Morgan has signed a proclamation to recognize the contributions of EMS professionals and first responders in the community.

This year’s national theme for EMS Week is “EMS Week: Improving Outcomes, Together.” The proclamation highlights the vital role that EMS personnel, dispatchers, firefighters, law enforcement officers, nurses, and medical personnel play in ensuring public safety and health.
