Marie Olive Tank, 81, of Killen, Alabama, passed away on May 19, 2026. Born in 1945, Marie dedicated her life to education, working as a teacher’s aide and bus driver at WC Handy Handicap School. She was a devoted member of the Killen Church of Christ.
Marie is survived by her husband, Earl Tank; sons, Chris Tank, Dana Tank, and Brad Tank; grandchildren, Sarah Tank, Blake Tank, Ryan Tank, Bailey Tank, Braden Tank, and Brooke Tank; great-granddaughter, Olivia Tank; sisters, Bethany Tank Robbins and Liz Robertson; and several nieces and nephews, including Sayler Robertson, Jane Odem, Frances Lowery, Brenda Michael, Delbert Michael, Eugene Olive, Ruby Wallace Olive Jones, Otis Jones, Betty Gifford, and Reed Olive.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
Visitation will be held on May 22, 2026, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Killen Church of Christ. Funeral services will take place on May 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., followed by burial at Killen Cemetery. The family would like to express special thanks to Green Oaks Inn for the wonderful and loving care shown to both Marie and Earl.
