Allison “Shelly” Johnson, 46, of Westpoint, TN, passed away on May 16, 2026, following a year and a half battle with cancer. Shelly was a dedicated educator, most recently teaching at E.O. Coffman Middle School. She also served as a former Principal and Teacher at Loretto Sacred Heart Catholic School and taught at Huntsville City Schools. Shelly was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Florence, AL.
She is survived by her mother, Sonya Johnson; her children, Sydney Stepp and Sam Stepp; her siblings, Edee Johnson, Tim Lamprecht, and Connie Lamprecht; and her grandchildren, Jessica Gray, Lance Gray, and Lena Gray. She was preceded in death by Jeff Noblit and Lorie Noblit.
Visitation will be held on May 19, 2026, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home, with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. The funeral service will take place on May 20, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at Trinity Episcopal Church, with the casket in state from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
At Shelly’s request, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in memory of Emily Marks.
