In recognition of Veterans Day, city offices in Lawrenceburg will be closed on Tuesday, November 11. As a result of this closure, the residential garbage collection that was originally scheduled for that day will be rescheduled to Thursday, November 13. Residents are encouraged to have their garbage carts placed outside early on Thursday morning, as it will be a double route day for pickups.
Additionally, all government offices in Lawrence County, including those related to Solid Waste, will also observe the holiday and remain closed on November 11.
In Loretto, City Hall will follow suit and will not be open on Tuesday, November 11. Residents of Loretto can expect their garbage collection to take place on Wednesday, November 12, instead.
Furthermore, the Pulaski Electric System will also be closed on Tuesday, November 11, in honor of Veterans Day.
