The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office has taken a Killen resident into custody following a string of shootings that targeted occupied homes last month. Sheriff Joe Hamilton confirmed that 31-year-old Seth Lee Kimbrough was apprehended on October 9, 2025, and is facing three charges of shooting into an occupied dwelling. Currently, Kimbrough is being held at the Lauderdale County Detention Center with a bond set at $90,000.
This arrest is the result of an extensive investigation into gunfire incidents that occurred in the early hours of September 14, 2025, which impacted three different residences. As part of the investigation, law enforcement officials executed four search warrants, which facilitated the gathering of crucial evidence, including cell phone records, vehicle data, and the confiscation of several firearms.
Notably, Kimbrough has a background in law enforcement, having previously served as a police officer in Killen. Authorities have indicated that the investigation is ongoing, and they are not releasing additional information at this time.
