Sobriety Checkpoints Scheduled by THP on June 7

Law enforcement officials from the Tennessee Highway Patrol have announced plans to conduct sobriety checkpoints in Lawrence County and Lincoln County on June 7. In Lawrence County, the checkpoint will be set up on U.S. Highway 43 South, specifically at the 2.9 mile marker. Meanwhile, in Lincoln County, the checkpoint will be located on Eldad Road, approximately 3/10 of a mile east of Grisham Road. The purpose of these checkpoints is to ensure the safety of all motorists by identifying and deterring impaired driving.
