The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department is reaching out to the public for assistance in solving two thefts that occurred at the Elk River Carving Company on Pulaski Highway. The first theft occurred in January and involved the disappearance of a four-foot carved eagle. Surveillance footage captured a man dragging the eagle to a white four-door Dodge Ram and loading it into the truck’s bed. The second theft took place in February, during which another eagle, a climbing bear, and a standing bear were stolen. Anyone with information regarding these incidents is urged to contact the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department at 931-433-9821.
