Edna Earle Brashears Derryberry, 93, of Marshall County, Tennessee, passed away on March 15th, 2025, at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee. She was born on June 20th, 1931, in Decatur, Alabama. Edna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, and a faithful member of the Cornersville First Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held on March 19th, 2025, from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the Cornersville First Baptist Church, followed by a funeral service at 1:00pm. The burial will take place in the Short Cemetery in Cornersville, Tennessee. Memorial donations are suggested to Cornersville First Baptist Church.
Edna was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald L. Derryberry and Charles H. Brashears, her parents, Clarence Stacey and Hattie McKelvey Arthur, her brother Bill Arthur, and her sister, Betty Newton.
She is survived by her children: Donna (Jeff) Williams, Kathie (Mike) Hall, Charles Brashears, Jr., and Cheryl (Johnny) McClung, as well as several grandchildren, a half-sister, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
