Marcell Couch, age 72, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at her residence. She was a native of Lauderdale County, AL, retired from Jones Apparel, enjoyed reading, and a member of Elgin First Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Buford W. and Gladys Manley Butler; one son, Jeff Couch; two brothers, Danny Butler and Michael Butler; and one sister, Mitzie Whitehouse.
She is survived by her husband, James A. Couch of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Tracy Williams of Waynesboro, TN; one brother, Morris Butler of Rogersville, AL; one sister, Pam Nichols (Dennis) of Rogersville, AL; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, February 23, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 24, 2024, with Boomer Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Belew Cemetery in Rogersville, AL.
