Murray Kemp, age 74, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was a native of Dyersburg, TN, and retired from Walmart. He enjoyed duck and dove hunting, watching Cardinals baseball and UT football, and was a prankster. He loved his family very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Murray Guy and Brenda Seaton Kemp; and one sister, Sandy Kemp.
He is survived by three daughters, Allison Kemp of Jackson, TN, Kelli Kemp of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Kelsey Hardison (Darrell) of Shelbyville, TN; one son, Kirk Kemp of Nashville, TN; one sister, Trenna Kemp of Lawrenceburg, TN; four grandchildren, Aubrey Hardison, D.J. Hardison, Hannah Hill, and Hunter Hill; and five great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday, July 20, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent by way of our website at www.nealfuneralhome.net.
