Tammy Delynn Jordan Gaudette, a beloved wife, mother, and teacher, passed away on April 15, 2025, after a courageous battle with glioblastoma. Born on February 3, 1967, in Pulaski, TN, to Houston and Betty Jordan, Tammy was a dedicated member of her community. She married Paul Gaudette in 1987 and together they raised their 4 children. Tammy’s passion for education led her to become a teacher after working as a teacher’s aid. She was known for her vibrant spirit and love for her students at Elkton School.
Tammy’s family was her world, and she cherished her time with her husband, children, and grandchildren. She was a source of joy and support for her siblings and had a wide circle of friends. Her love for life was evident in her involvement in school activities and her annual Halloween costumes. She enjoyed traveling with her close friends, the Swizzles, and cherished her trips to the beach.
Tammy’s passing is mourned by her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. A visitation will be held at Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory on April 18th, 2025, followed by a funeral service and burial at Maplewood Cemetery in Pulaski. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Glioblastoma Foundation.
Tammy’s impact on her family, students, and community will be remembered with love and gratitude. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
