Walcie Crosslin

Walcie Crosslin, 93, of Killen, AL, passed away on January 12, 2026. She was born in Lauderdale County, AL to Frank and Mattie Wilson on September 14, 1932. Walcie was preceded in death by her three brothers, Orlean, Lloyd, and Bobby Wilson, and her sister, Juanita Crosslin.

She was married to the late Walter Crosslin and together they raised seven children. Walcie is survived by her sons G.W., Lynn (Ramona), Mike (Jan), Keith (who was preceded in death by the late Denise Crosslin), and Reshea Cromwell (Michael).

Walcie was a beloved mother, grandmother, Mamaw, and Nanny to her (13) grandchildren, (24) great-grandchildren, and (2) great-great-grandchildren. She was cherished by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Greenhill Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 1:30 P.M. at Center Hill Cemetery with Chaplain Garry Lovette officiating. Burial will be in Center Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Mike Crosslin, Keith Crosslin, Rusty Crosslin, Michael Cromwell, Matt Mazurek, and Cody Stephens, with Champ Stephens as an honorary pallbearer.

The family extends special thanks to Dr. David Brown, Elizabeth Oswalt, and the entire staff at F.M.A. Gentiva Hospice, especially Steven Saucer and Chaplain Garry Lovette, for their care and support. They also express gratitude to Heather, Jeff, Emma, Demanika, Renea, and Caitlin Williams for their assistance in caring for Walcie.
