Local artists in the community are being reminded that the deadline to submit their artwork for the 44th Annual Marguerite Rose Burton Art Show is approaching. The entry date is set for Friday, April 12. Artists who are 12 years old and above are eligible to participate by submitting two original pieces of art that have been completed within the past year. Additionally, artists can also enter one piece in the special category known as the “People’s Choice Award.”
Those interested in submitting their artwork can do so at the Crockett Art Center between the hours of noon and 5 p.m. It is important to note that each entry must be accompanied by a completed entry form. Entry forms, along with a copy of the rules for the art show, are available for pickup at the Lawrence County Public Library and Lawrenceburg Glass Company.
