Lawrenceburg Utility Systems (LUS) has announced scheduled software updates that will lead to temporary interruptions in customer service systems. These disruptions are set to occur from May 20 through May 23, 2026.
During this period, the after-hours phone system will be unavailable starting at 4:30 PM each evening. Consequently, customers will not have access to the SmartHub app until the following morning. Additionally, both the phone payment system and the phone outage reporting system will also be offline during these overnight updates. This means customers will be unable to make payments or report outages through these systems during the specified hours.
Despite these interruptions, dispatchers will continue to receive outage notifications. This ensures that any reported issues will still be addressed promptly, even while other systems are temporarily down. Customers can rest assured that their concerns will be managed effectively.
In case of an emergency, residents are reminded to call 911 for immediate assistance. This serves as an important reminder for the community to prioritize safety during this maintenance period. Service is expected to resume the following morning after the updates are completed, allowing customers to regain access to all systems.
