Lawrenceburg Utility Systems Announces Temporary Service Interruptions

Lawrenceburg Utility Systems (LUS) has announced temporary service interruptions to several customer service systems due to scheduled software infrastructure updates. These interruptions will take place from May 20 through May 23, 2026.

Each evening during this period, starting at 4:30 PM, the after-hours phone system will be unavailable until the following morning. Additionally, the SmartHub app and the phone payment system will also be inaccessible during these overnight updates. The phone outage reporting system will not be operational during the same timeframe.

Despite these interruptions, LUS officials have stated that dispatchers will continue to receive outage notifications through the utility’s metering system and will respond to outages and service issues as necessary.

In case of an emergency, residents are advised to call 911 for immediate assistance.
