A 24-year-old man from Fayetteville, Tennessee, has been apprehended on charges of statutory rape following an investigation into an alleged sexual encounter with a minor. The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office reported that Savon C. Black was taken into custody on May 26th by the Fugitive Unit of the Sheriff’s Office, acting on a warrant for second-degree rape, specifically statutory in nature.
The allegations emerged during a criminal investigation initiated by deputies after they received information regarding an incident involving a minor who is reportedly under the age of sixteen.
