A 24-year-old man from Fayetteville, Tennessee, has been apprehended on charges of statutory rape following an investigation into an alleged sexual encounter with a minor. The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office reported that Savon C. Black was taken into custody on May 26th by the Fugitive Unit of the Sheriff’s Office, acting on a warrant for second-degree rape, specifically statutory in nature.
The allegations emerged during a criminal investigation initiated by deputies after they received information regarding an incident involving a minor who is reportedly under the age of sixteen. Throughout the inquiry, the Morgan County Advocacy Center collaborated with law enforcement to assist in the collection of evidence pertinent to the case.
