A man has been apprehended in relation to a homicide that occurred over the weekend, following a thorough investigation conducted by special agents from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) in collaboration with the Perry County Sheriff’s Office. The inquiry was initiated on March 16th at the behest of Hans Schwendimann, the District Attorney General for the 32nd Judicial District, who requested TBI’s assistance in probing a fatal shooting incident that took place on Meditation Lane in Linden.
Upon arrival at the scene on Sunday afternoon, law enforcement officials discovered the body of 46-year-old Samuel Yoder. Subsequent investigations led to the identification of Anthony Boberg, a 38-year-old neighbor of Yoder, as the primary suspect in the case. Authorities obtained a warrant for Boberg, charging him with criminal homicide. He was taken into custody without any resistance and is currently being held at the Perry County Jail, where he remains without bond. It is important to note that Boberg is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
