In the early hours of September 13, law enforcement officials were dispatched to investigate a vehicle crash that had occurred at an abandoned site located near 1124 Mattoxtown Road in Lawrenceburg. The call came in at approximately 5:29 a.m., prompting deputies to respond swiftly to the scene. Upon arrival, they observed a white male, who was presumed to be the driver of the vehicle, making his way away from the area.
Deputies pursued the individual and found him on Mattox Road. During a routine pat-down search, they discovered around 3 grams of methamphetamine concealed in the man’s hoodie pocket, along with a used glass pipe that was hidden within his clothing. The individual was identified as Trent Ray Mash. Following the discovery of the illegal substances, he was taken into custody on charges of simple possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. The arrest was carried out without any complications, and Mash was subsequently transported to the Lawrence County Jail for processing.
