Tuscaloosa Resident Loses Life in Lauderdale County Collision

A tragic incident unfolded on Wednesday afternoon in Lauderdale County, resulting in the death of a Tuscaloosa resident. Reports from WAFF indicate that the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) confirmed the accident took place at approximately 1:12 p.m. on Alabama Highway 20, specifically near the 7-mile marker, which is situated around 11 miles to the west of Florence.

The victim has been identified as 26-year-old Joshua D. Strozier. He was operating a pickup truck when it collided head-on with another vehicle. Authorities have noted that Strozier was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, and unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
