The Lewisburg Police Department has confirmed the identification and arrest of a suspect linked to the robbery homicide that took place at the Marathon gas station situated at 1535 Mooresville Highway in Lewisburg. Authorities apprehended the suspect, identified as David Hamilton, at the Budget Inn in Pulaski. This operation necessitated the temporary closure of several sections of Highway 31A, as well as the lockdown of a nearby school, until Hamilton was safely taken into custody.
The successful arrest was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the Pulaski Police Department and the Giles County Sheriff’s Office. Hamilton now faces charges of Criminal Homicide, with additional charges anticipated as the investigation continues.
