THP to Implement Sobriety Checkpoints in Lawrence and Hickman Counties

This week, the Tennessee Highway Patrol is set to conduct Sobriety Checkpoints in both Lawrence and Hickman Counties. The checkpoint in Lawrence County is scheduled for Friday evening, operating from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. It will be located on U.S. Highway 43 North, specifically at the 2.9-mile marker.

In Hickman County, a similar checkpoint will take place on Monday, also from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. This checkpoint will be positioned on State Route 7, at the 3-mile marker. These initiatives are part of ongoing efforts to ensure road safety and deter impaired driving in the region.
