18-Year-Old Arrested After Pursuit in Stolen Mustang

An 18-year-old man was arrested in Spring Hill, Tennessee, on September 22, 2026, after leading police on a pursuit in a stolen vehicle and subsequently crashing. The individual, identified as Jaxon Bryant Rhea, was driving a black 2019 Ford Mustang that had been reported stolen from an apartment complex off Columns Way.
The incident began when law enforcement attempted to stop Rhea while he was driving the Mustang. Instead of complying, he fled from the officers, reaching speeds of 70 mph in a 35 mph zone. This reckless driving posed a significant danger to other motorists and pedestrians in the area. The pursuit ended when the vehicle was found crashed and smoking in a culvert at the intersection of Main Street and Kedron Road.
Upon investigating the vehicle, officers discovered a mask and a loaded handgun inside. These findings raised additional concerns regarding Rhea’s actions and intentions. He was apprehended without incident at the scene, allowing law enforcement to secure the area quickly.
Following his arrest, Rhea was taken into custody and is currently being held in the Maury County Jail. He faces multiple felony charges related to the pursuit and the stolen vehicle. These charges reflect the seriousness of the offenses committed during the incident.
