The University of North Alabama has been selected by the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) to take part in the prestigious Scholars Transforming Through Research (STR) Program for the 2024–25 academic year. This program is highly competitive and is designed for teams that include one to three undergraduate students along with a representative from the campus. Out of numerous applications submitted nationwide, only 63 teams have been chosen to participate, highlighting the significance of this opportunity.
This initiative not only aims to enhance the professional development of students but also seeks to make meaningful contributions to the field of healthcare. The selected teams consist of 65 educational leaders and 146 undergraduate researchers, representing a diverse array of 57 institutions across 22 different states. This collaboration is expected to foster growth and innovation in research, ultimately benefiting both the participants and the broader community.
