Anthony D. Bedford, 72, of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away on October 18, 2025, at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, AL. He was a retired employee of Murray Ohio and a devoted member of the Methodist Faith. Anthony was a skilled woodworker and found joy in creating beautiful pieces.
He is survived by his daughter, Kari Sledge (Josh) of Hazel Green, AL; his son, Nathan Bedford of Lawrenceburg, TN; two sisters, Amanda B. Davis of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Rebecca Potts (Joe) of Summertown, TN; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, John W. “Bill” and Martha Tingle Bedford, and his brother, Roger Bedford.
The family will receive friends at Mars Hill United Methodist Church on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 PM, officiated by Billy Beal. Inurnment will take place at Mars Hill Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN. Condolences may be sent through the funeral home’s website at www.nealfuneralhome.net. Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.
